| The
e-learning system currently in use at UConn is "The Blackboard
Learning System™ - Vista Enterprise License (Release Vista 8.0.5)". In order to simplify the way in which
we refer to our course management system, both now and in the future, UConn has
chosen to use the name HuskyCT, which stands for Husky Course Tools.
HuskyCT
is considered an “academic enterprise system"
as it integrates with administrative systems such as PeopleSoft and
also provides the ability to make resource materials available across
schools and by the university as a whole. |

| Instructors
seeking assistance with HuskyCT should call the IRC at (860) 486-5052 or email [email protected] Frequently we can resolve basic problems over the phone, but we also
encourage faculty to schedule appointments for more extensive assistance.
This would include help with building a HuskyCT course site for the
first time or learning how to use some of the more complex features
such as the quiz and survey tool. |
