| Overview |

Respondus
is a Windows application that can be used to create and manage test
questions and exams.These exams can then be printed or uploaded directly
to a HuskyCT course site for use there. This user-friendly tool offers
nine different questions types, the ability to easily add tables,
bulleted lists, equations, graphics, and both audio and video files.
Its word processor like environment also allows for text formatting
and spell checking. Respondus can also be used to retrieve test questions
and exams from HuskyCT and to generate reports. |

| Obtaining
a copy of Respondus |
| |
The
University of Connecticut currently has a site license to
Respondus 4.0. Respondus is available to the faculty and staff (not
students) of the University of Connecticut (regional campuses included)
and can be installed on University owned personal computers. The
license also permits faculty and staff to install a second copy of Respondus
on a home computer. |

Respondus can be purchased for $10.00 at the University Information Technology Services Business Office located in the Math Science Building (MSB), ground floor, room 049. An acceptable means of payment is by transfer voucher, cash, or check. Checks are to be made out to University ITS. To contact the business office, email 486-1781 or email [email protected]
