Beginning the Online Application
Welcome to the University of Connecticut online application. Please fill out this form so we can highlight any critical information that may be necessary for a successful application submission.
UConn is now a member of the Common Application. Students who wish to apply via the Common Application must create an account through the Common Application web site. Students must then complete the application and University supplement. Please note that if you choose to submit the Common Application online the supplement must also be submitted online.
Students can also choose to submit the University's application. Students who wish to apply via the University's application will need to create a CT Mentor account. This account can also be used to apply to other Connecticut colleges and universities. In order to create a CT Mentor account, you must have a valid email address. If you do not have a valid email address, you can create one through CT Mentor. This address will be used by both CT Mentor and the University of Connecticut to communicate important information. By creating a CT Mentor User Name and password, your information will be stored and entered into your UConn application. Please be sure to keep your User Name and password in a safe location. You can revisit your UConn application as many times as you would like before formally submitting it. Please click here to apply via the University's application.
The University of Connecticut does not have a preference as to which application is used and views both applications equally. Please submit only one application. Submitting both applications will ultimately delay the processing of your record.
