The Provost
... is the University's chief academic
officer and is responsible for all academic programs
at the main campus in Storrs, at the five regional campuses
at Avery Point, Hartford, Stamford, Torrington, and
Waterbury, the School of Law in Hartford, and the Schools
of Medicine and Dental Medicine at the UConn Health
Center in Farmington.
The role of the Provost is to lead in the development
of academic priorities for the institution and to work
with the faculty and administration on the appropriate
distribution of University resources in the achievement
of the highest standard of excellence in all our areas
of academic engagement.
