This summer, construction began on Club Sports’ Depot Field in order to make way for two brand new grass fields. Check out the pictures below, as Depot already looks very different! Check back throughout the 2009-2010 academic year as we follow the project to its estimated completion for the Fall of 2010.
What Are Club Sports?
Club Sports bridge the gap between intramural sports and varsity athletics by providing student-athletes the opportunity to practice as a team and compete at various levels. The Club Sports Program emphasizes student leadership as the club teams are organized, managed and operated exclusively by UConn students.
What is the Club Sports Council?
The Club Sports Council is student-led and serves as the governing body for the Club Sports Program. The Council works to ensure the proper support and success of its member clubs and their students. Additionally, the Council works closely with the University to enhance the growth and development of its athletes.
Check out the Team Directory Link for all the available teams and contact information.
