Mission
The Center for Environmental Sciences and Engineering at the University of Connecticut leads and promotes multidisciplinary research, education and outreach in environmental sciences, engineering, policy, and sustainability.
Approximately 150 faculty members from the biophysical and social sciences, as well as from engineering and agriculture collaborate to advance the Center’s mission.
To advance this mission, the Center provides infrastructural support to the faculty via its Analytical Laboratories and Business Office, and supports graduate education via Graduate Fellowships and Summer Research Awards.
In addition, CESE acts as a collaboratory and synthesis center for multidisciplinary research and graduate education. |
