Yarleys Tifa '11 Featured as an Outstanding Student in the Class of 2011 in UConn Today

Yarelys Tifa '11 was featured in Uconn Today as an outstanding student in the Class of 2011. Now working at UTC Otis Elevator as a sales representative trainee, Yarleys manages her own sales district. She feels that the Resource Economics major has been a great preparation for the business world.

Yizao Liu will join the Department in Fall 2011 as Assistant Professor

She earned her undergraduate degree at Renmin University in China in 2006, and her Master's degree from University of Texas-Austin in 2008. She is expected to complete her Ph.D at the University of Texas at Austin in May 2011. Her dissertation is "Three Essays on Fuel Efficiency and Vehicle Demand Dynamics." more
